Bio

Born on May 3, 1984, in the bygone era of the USSR, in the city of Taganrog, Sandra Koretskaya began her artistic journey at the Rostov Art College, where she studied Design and graduated in 2003. She further honed her skills at the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts (KSADA) and the Engineering and Technology Academy of SFU, embarking on an academic career that culminated in a teaching position she held until 2018.

 

A respected member of the Artists Union of Lithuania since 2010, Koretskaya has been an active participant in the art community, contributing to over 20 collective exhibitions across North Europe, Ukraine, and Poland and commanding the stage with seven solo shows in her home country. Her work, steeped in the contemplation of mortality and self-identity, has found a place in private collections spanning Lithuania, South Korea, Greece, and the United States.

 

Since 2019, Koretskaya has been living and working in Vilnius, Lithuania, continuing her exploration of life's darker themes and sharing her profound insights through her art.
